Alla foce del torrente Nestore tra il "biondo" Tevere e le verdi colline Umbro-Toscane, č posto l'Agriturismo Nestore. L'agriturismo si trova ai margini di un piccolo borgo ed č in possesso alla famiglia Rossi dal 1781. Il proprietario, Fabio Rossi, agronomo, coltiva direttamente i propri terreni e quelli del resto della famiglia nella continuitā di un'unica amministrazione fin dalla fine del 700. L’Agriturismo č stato realizzato in uno dei centri aziendali ed č costituito da due case coloniche attigue ed alcuni annessi tra cui spiccano i vecchi essiccatoi del tabacco. La ristrutturazione č stata realizzata con la massima attenzione alle caratteristiche architettoniche della zona: pavimenti in cotto antico, pareti in pietra faccia a vista, soffitti con pianelle e travi in legno. Particolarmente curato anche l'arredamento con mobili del '700 e '800. Gli appartamenti sono ampi anche per far apprezzare i momenti trascorsi in casa. Sono tutti dotati di TV e telefono, lavatrice in comune. Nel vecchio forno a legna č possibile cuocere la pizza. Sono a disposizione ortaggi e uova fresche.
At the mouth of the River Nestore, between the blond Tiber and the green hills of Umbria and Tuscany, is the agriturismo Nestore. The agritourism is situated on the outskirts of a small hamlet and has belonged to the Rossi family since 1781. The owner, Fabio Rossi, an agronomist, cultivates his own land that of the rest of the family continuing a family tradition dating fom the end of the 18thcentury. The agritourism has been built in one of the farm centres and is composed of two adjacent farmhouses and several annexes including the old tobacco drying towers. The modernisation has been carried out with the greatest attention to the architectural traditions of the area: floors in old terracotta, exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings. Great care has also been taken with the furnishings dating from the 18thand 19th centuries. The apartments are spacious so that even time passed in doors may be fully appreciated. They all have Tv and telephone and shared washing machine. Pizzas can be cooked in the old wood-oven. Fresh eggs and vegetables are available. |
